Overview Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic Manager to join the Infrastructure Supply Chain and Engineering team, supporting the Scope 3 Supplier Engagement Program. This role plays a pivotal part in advancing the company’s 2030 Net Zero Commitment by driving supplier collaboration on emissions reduction initiatives. The successful candidate will lead efforts to engage suppliers, align cross-functional stakeholders, and support emissions data collection and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute engagement strategies with selected suppliers to reduce value chain GHG emissions
- Collaborate with external suppliers to enhance GHG reporting maturity and improve data quality
- Analyze supplier emissions data, targets, roadmaps, and solutions to identify trends and inform decision-making
- Coordinate with internal teams—including procurement and supplier managers—to ensure timely project delivery
- Scale supplier and internal initiatives to accelerate value chain decarbonization
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support the design and implementation of new and existing GHG reduction programs
- Communicate program progress and insights effectively across internal stakeholders
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex datasets; proficiency in Excel and data analytics tools such as Tableau
- Deep expertise in GHG accounting, including Scope 3 emissions, supplier target setting, and maturity modeling
- Experience in contract negotiations, supplier management, and roadmap development
- Proven project management capabilities with a track record of delivering complex initiatives in fast-paced, matrixed environments
- Strategic thinker and collaborative team player with the ability to scale sustainability initiatives across the organization
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diplomatically resolve conflicts and drive alignment
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams (e.g., Sustainability, Procurement, Engineering, Business Operations)
- Familiarity with global and sector-specific sustainability frameworks and initiatives
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-related products and services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
