- Answer incoming calls and direct calls to appropriate person or voice mail. Take messages if needed.
- Monitor and orders office supplies as needed.
- Assist with clerical duties including filing, computer input, and reporting as requested. Handles confidential and sensitive information.
- Coordinate proper coding, monitoring, and reporting for public funds deposits.
- Review and process invoices received centrally for submission to Accounts Payable department. Perform research and error resolution as necessary.
- Assist with special projects assigned by management.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Communicate effectively in-person and otherwise with all coworkers and customers, both during regular business hours and before and after regular business hours, if necessary.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Knowledge of bank policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
- Knowledge of internal banking systems (Navigator, Director, etc.)
- Skill in communicating with customers and co-workers in a courteous and professional manner.
- Skill in multitasking.
- Ability to pay close attention to detail and work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure of deadlines.
- Ability to function as a team player.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Previous three to six years of banking experience.
- Previous experience with computer software.
