2nd and 3rd shift available, with training provided during the off-shift hours.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Repairs and services mechanical equipment in manufacturing process, laboratories, and offices.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility and process equipment, including pumps (mag drive, mechanical seal), grinding mills, valves, compressors, and packaging systems.

  • Troubleshoot motor control systems and plant instrumentation.

  • Maintain mobile equipment such as forklifts and aerial lifts.

  • Maintain infrastructure equipment, including steam generation and cooling/chilling systems, ensuring mechanical compliance with state regulations (fire systems, boilers, pollution control).

  • Apply fabrication and piping skills, including welding and pipe assembly (preferred).

  • Participate in safety and site improvement programs.

SALARY RANGE: 

$25.10 to $38.23. Compensation for this role is negotiable based on experience and skill set.

Additional Competencies: 

  • High School Diploma.
  • Technical School Certification or 2-3 years’ experience or equivalent combination.
  • Experience in automation or fabrication required.
  • Ability to interpret basic mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Experience with Welding and Piping Assembly preferred.
  • Have valid driver’s license.
