Beverage Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager

Princess Anne Country Club, a premier private club located in the heart of Virginia Beach, is seeking an enthusiastic, service-oriented Beverage Manager/Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a respected and tradition-rich club known for its exceptional member experiences. The ideal candidate is a hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, a passion for service, and a deep knowledge of beverage operations.

Position Overview:

The Beverage Manager will work closely with the Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of the club’s dining room, bar, and lounge areas. This leadership role is hands-on and guest-focused, with a strong emphasis on delivering an exceptional member and guest experience at every service touchpoint.


Requirements

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the daily operations of      the dining and beverage service areas, including the restaurant, lounge,      and special event venues.
  • Supervise, train, and inspire      front-of-house staff to uphold the highest standards of hospitality and      service.
  • Oversee all aspects of the club’s      beverage program, including wine, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic      offerings.
  • Manage beverage inventory,      ordering, and cost controls to ensure quality and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with state and      club regulations regarding alcohol service, safety, and sanitation.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant      Manager and Executive Chef to enhance member experiences through      thoughtful pairing suggestions and seasonal beverage menus.
  • Play a key role in planning and      executing club events, tastings, and special promotions.
  • Maintain a strong presence on the      floor during service, engaging with members and guests to ensure      satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2–3 years of leadership      experience in food and beverage operations; private club, luxury hotel, or      fine dining background preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of wine,      spirits, and mixology, with a passion for curating exceptional beverage      experiences.
  • Excellent communication,      leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and      motivate a team in a fast-paced, member-focused environment.
  • Proficient in inventory      management, ordering systems, and cost control measures.
  • Flexible schedule with      availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
