You’ll execute the full lifecycle recruitment process for GTM hires and partner with various managers at Expel to actively and passively seek out and hire the very best people at all levels. A successful candidate will have a keen eye when reviewing resumes, can tell our story, conduct exceptional first round interviews, and do it all with a great sense of humor and touch of sarcasm.

What you can do for Expel
- Instill a positive impression of Expel in candidates by promptly and entertainingly engaging throughout the recruiting cycle
- Ensure our approach to recruiting fosters diversity & inclusion
- Guide our hiring managers in understanding the skills, traits and experiences needed and creatively source appropriate candidates
- Effectively qualify high performing people, and share the opportunity we have for them at Expel, including compensation and commission structure
- Identify and nurture applicant sources by engaging with various networks and online platforms
- Build out talent networks and tap knowledgeable industry sources to develop an ongoing pool of candidates
- Help us continually improve the effectiveness and overall quality of our recruiting process
- Understand Expel’s business strategy and competitive positioning
What you should bring with you
- 5+ years experience full life cycle sales recruiting in a software, platform, or technology environment
- Firm understanding of GTM business functions
- Ability to understand candidate personas for specific roles and build corresponding targeted sourcing strategies
- Strong active listening and communication skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Familiarity with Greenhouse Applicant Tracking System
- Experience recruiting for cybersecurity roles is a significant advantage
- Ability to pull and apply data to improve processes
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, or an equivalently compelling series of life experiences
Additional Notes
Pay range: $110,200 USD to $140,000 USD + bonus eligibility and equity.
We believe in paying transparently and equitably. Your salary will ultimately be based on factors such as your experience, skills, team equity, and market data. You’ll also be eligible for unlimited PTO (which we model and encourage), work location flexibility, up to 24 weeks of parental leave, and really excellent health benefits.
Our headquarters is in Herndon, Virginia. However, we realize that while there is a benefit to in-person interaction, good people don’t all live in Northern Virginia. Remote work is an option for this role.
