About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our growing Project & Infrastructure Advisory (P&IA) team in Adelaide. Our P&IA team provides advice to government and corporate clients in the infrastructure sector with specialist advisory services across all phases of projects, from concept through assessment through to funding/financing and delivery.  

You will be involved in a broad range of advisory services, including: 

  • Development: governance, regulation, strategy, financial modelling, feasibility studies, and business cases 

  • Delivery: transaction management, bid processes, and commercial/financial advisory, including support for project agreement development and negotiation 

  • Management: valuations, refinancing, contract variations, often involving complex transactions such as financing arrangements, mergers, and acquisitions 

You will be part of a national team of around 100 specialists with deep expertise in financial and commercial advisory, economics, strategy and planning, business case development, and project management. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to both local and national projects across a diverse portfolio, while being a valued member of the Adelaide office and the broader P&IA division. 

 

Key responsibilities  

  • Develop project financial models for various projects and assets 

  • Assist in creating user friendly and graphical interfaces for complex financial models to support negotiation of interrelated agreements 

  • Conduct financial and commercial analyses based on internally or externally prepared financial modelling and an understanding of the client/project’s objectives 

  • Support the preparation of reports and presentations for a wide variety of stakeholders 

  • Collaborate as part of multi-disciplinary teams, including both internal resources and external sub-consultants (or as part of a consortium) 

  • Contribute to the preparation of new engagements proposals  

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, project stakeholders and industry partners  

 

About You 

You may bring experience from a range of professional backgrounds, including finance, accounting, audit, law, economics, engineering, or a related discipline. Your skillset might include: 

  • Experience in financial modelling, valuations, mergers and acquisitions, project or corporate finance, transactions, or audit 

  • Exposure to infrastructure, property, or capital projects, gained in consulting, professional services, government, or industry 

  • Ability to work effectively within integrated multidisciplinary teams 

  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
