Your Role:
This role focuses on providing high-quality, customer-service-focused ICT support while offering opportunities for technical growth:
- Provide proactive, customer service-focused ICT support (including training) for staff and students.
- Support teachers with the effective use of technology in the classroom.
- Support the student 1:1 device program, including deployment and repairs.
- Identify opportunities and assist with the development and implementation of automation and programming (e.g., PowerShell, Python, C#, .NET) to improve IT service delivery and workflow efficiency.
- Assist with Audio Visual during events, including supervising permitted student use of AV equipment.
- Play a proactive role in delivering the School's ICT Strategy and key projects
About You:
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate at interview a personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ and a lifestyle consistent with that faith, including an active commitment to a Christian fellowship, as well as the following skills and experience:
Key Criteria
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience or a strong capacity for the following technical and operational tasks:
- Answering, elevating, and prioritising incoming telephone, email, and in-person technical support requests using an internal Helpdesk ticketing system.
- Working with students and staff in different locations across the College to solve technology-related problems.
- Maintenance of the College’s hardware and software resources (PC, Mac, AV equipment, communication systems).
- Managing user data in Active Directory, College Administration system, and asset management system.
- Maintenance of College operating and application systems (Windows 11, MS Office).
- Demonstrated interest or foundational knowledge in scripting or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, JavaScript) to aid in system administration or reporting.
- Strong organisational and administration ability
- Confidence in managing multiple tasks, coordinating events and maintaining accurate data
- Team orientated with a “can do” attitude.
