Responsibilities:
- Operate machines and determine machine adjustments and material requirements
- Observe machine operation to detect defects or machine malfunction
- Check work piece dimensions, position or mesh count to determine accuracy of machine operation
- Maintain product quality to the standards established. Bring defects to the attention of the Resource Management during beaming process
- Set up or assist in setting up fabric, mark, pack, or any other duties called for to get a fabric ready to transport finished work pieces to customer
- Maintenance & service on all beaming/warping equipment
- Assist in Inventory control of raw material
- Assist in training or helping team members to get the entire team to the highest level of efficiency
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Able to organize and prioritize tasks, and adapt to changes in schedules and job priorities
- Follow detailed oral and written instructions
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, stretch, stoop, reach and climb (stairs or step ladder)
- Ability to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, for distances of up to 50 feet.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues
