This is a full-time role and our selected candidate will be expected to work onsite, Monday through Friday, at our Brooklyn Park, MN Headquarters.

A day in the life:

As a Revenue Recognition Accountant for CVRx, you will be a key member of the growing Finance team, responsible for overseeing global revenue accounting, managing accounts receivable and the allowance for doubtful accounts while maintaining the Salesforce CRM system in coordination with members of our Field Sales Team, including Territory Managers and others.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Revenue 

• Manage Salesforce system for all revenue opportunities, and ensure proper revenue recognition. 

• Work with sales representatives daily requests. 

• Maintenance of contracts and pricing in Salesforce. 

• Provide invoices to customers. 

Accounts Receivable 

• Work with customers to clear dated receivables. 

• Manage accounts receivable sub-ledger on routine basis. 

Month-end Close and Reporting 

• Assist with monthly and quarterly close activities, ensuring all revenue, receivables and cash application is posted timely and accurately. 

• Prepare month-end journal entries as part of the close process.. 

• Maintain a sub-ledger for accounts receivable. 

• Reconcile accounts receivable and revenue sub-ledger detail to the general ledger. 

Various Other Duties 

• Assist with external audit and internal audit requests. 

• Various other duties as reasonably determined by the Assistant Controller.

Requirements

What we expect from you:

• B.A. in Finance or Accounting; a combination of education and appropriate experience will be considered in lieu of specific degree
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in an accounting role
• Excellence with Microsoft Office 365 suite, particularly with Excel
• Able to quickly adapt to new software applications as needed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• An energetic, forward-thinking, decisive individual with the highest ethical standards and appropriate professional image
• Customer Service skills with ability to be patient and amicable in difficult situations
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment
  

What we would like to see:

• Experience working within Salesforce CRM or other, similar CRM tools
• FASB 606 is nice to have
• Experience working with QAD is preferred
• Experience within the medical device manufacturing industry
• Proven ability to operate effectively within high-growth environment

Working Conditions:

• Flexible schedule for in office and remote working. 
• No travel expected.

Salary (or Hourly) range for U.S locations (USD): 72,000 to 80,000 per year

The base salary range is applicable across the U.S., complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and specific location.
