Job Description 

The Regional Sales Executive will lead sales growth within a defined territory, driving success in New Construction, Re-Roof, and Service opportunities. This role is responsible for developing regional pipelines, securing major accounts, and maintaining strong client relationships to support long-term revenue growth.

Responsibilities 

Regional Business Development and Market Expansion:

  1. Actively prospect and secure projects across New Construction, Re-Roof, and Service within assigned states/territories.
  2. Identify regional opportunities with property owners, consultants, and facility managers.
  3. Build a diversified pipeline of opportunities to meet growth objectives.

Client Consultation and Tailored Solutions:

  1. Work with clients to assess regional roofing needs and provide tailored recommendations.
  2. Conduct site visits and assessments; deliver customized proposals across all project types.
  3. Serve as an expert resource for regional climate and building requirements.

Sales Leadership and Proposals:

  1. Deliver strong regional sales presentations, highlighting both company resources and local expertise.
  2. Develop client-specific proposals that address budgets and timelines while maintaining competitiveness.
  3. Proactively resolve client questions and objections.

Relationship Building and Client Retention: 

  1. Establish strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers in the region.
  2. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and position the company as the go-to provider.
  3. Secure repeat business and expand service across accounts.

Regional Sales Strategy and Growth Targets: 

  1. Collaborate with sales leadership to set and achieve growth goals.
  2. Continuously refine regional strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis.

Networking and Regional Industry Presence: 

  1. Represent the company at regional trade shows and association events.
  2. Engage with local networks to increase visibility and influence.

Sales Reporting and Performance Analysis: 

  1. Maintain accurate records in CRM and track progress of opportunities.
  2. Provide regular reports and updates to leadership.

Additional Responsibilities: 

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years proven success in sales within the commercial roofing industry, preferably with a strong focus on re-roofing in key regional markets.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals, with a proven track record of securing new business opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of re-roofing systems, products, and industry best practices.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and close high-value deals.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and clients across regional markets.
  • Self-starter with a relentless drive to succeed, continuously looking for ways to grow and diversify the business.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively to target markets nationwide.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
