Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Annual Hiring Salary: $120,726 - $144,929

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will:
- Design and implement architecture roadmaps for enterprise-wide data solutions
- Lead the development of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, solving data challenges and providing recommendations
- Collaborate with IT teams and departments to develop and enhance business processes and technology solutions
- Estimate costs and develop business cases for IT projects, working with project management to ensure completion
- Communicate complex technical information clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Document technical processes and collaborate with peers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
- Gather and document requirements for data ingestion into data lakehouse
- Consult with the organization’s departments on data analytics needs
- Perform other duties as assigned

Relevant Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Can we reword to “Knowledge of cloud platforms, specifically Databricks and Azure Data Analytics, for data management, storage, and analytics
- Ability to develop and execute data models (star and snowflake schemas) and perform data analysis to support business needs
- Proficient in SQL, Python, and working with databases including Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
- Ability to translate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively across departments and with external vendors
Position Duties
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in information technology, data science, computer science, or a related field.
- Five years of professional experience in IT architecture, data management, data lakehouse design, or related fields.

Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks or other cloud-based platforms
- Experience with ETL processes and tools, including SQL and Python
- Experience with star and snowflake schema designs for database structures
- Experience with big data tools and storage formats including Parquet Files and Delta Lake
