CBIZ is looking for a senior implementation consultant to join our Intacct Practice! This individual will assist in determining the clients’ needs, including business process design, development of customized solutions, ongoing support, and integration of third-party applications with existing infrastructure. In addition to core consulting responsibilities, the Senior Consultant will mentor and guide other consultants, share best practices, and help drive team success. They will also be encouraged to expand their expertise by learning advanced Sage Intacct modules beyond the core set. The Senior Consultant should be prepared to work on 6-8 projects simultaneously, balancing active implementations with ongoing post-implementation support and leading projects independently. Essential Functions and Primary Duties 

  • Prepare and execute client business process requirement workshops
  • Interface with clients to discover their business challenges
  • Perform quantitative and observational data analyses
  • Create and present client recommendations
  • Lead projects independently, managing the full implementation cycle and ensuring smooth execution.
  • Train end users on the Sage Intacct system and provide documentation on day-to-day processes.
  • Assist in the development of reports and dashboards.
  • Assist with data conversion and testing.
  • Conduct the go-live cutover and ensure the transition is smooth and successful.
  • Remain up-to-date on Sage Intacct trends and quarterly releases.
  • Collaborate with other Sage Intacct team members, acting as a mentor to less experienced consultants.
  • Provide guidance and share best practices within the team.
  •  Take initiative in learning and implementing advanced modules to broaden expertise.
  • Be prepared to work on 6-8 projects at the same time, balancing active implementations with ongoing support responsibilities.
  • Provide timely, outstanding post-implementation service and support.
  • Respond promptly to support calls and resolve issues efficiently. 

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of ERP solutions, combined with excellent communication skills.
  • 2-4 years of experience implementing Sage Intacct solutions, with a proven track record across multiple projects.
  • Strong understanding of core Sage Intacct modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management).
  • Ability to lead projects independently, from planning to execution, ensuring client success.
  • Accounting/Finance experience as an end user of Sage Intacct or a similar ERP system.
  • Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, presentation, relationship building, collaboration, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Accounting, or MIS.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.
  • Guide clients through the Sage Intacct side of third-party integrations, helping them understand data flow, configuration needs, and best practices for ongoing use.
  • Willingness and ability to learn advanced Sage Intacct modules (e.g. Fixed Assets, Prepaids, Projects, Multi-Entity, Global Consolidations); prior knowledge is a plus
  • Occasionally learn and support third-party products where CBIZ has established partnerships (e.g., Martus), to better assist clients and ensure seamless integration with Sage Intacct.
  • Previous experience mentoring or training colleagues is a plus.
  • Prior experience with Sage Intacct Construction and the Sage Intacct Contracts module, including configuration, revenue recognition and client training.
  • Background in the CRE (Commercial Real Estate/Construction) industry with knowledge of project costing and industry-specific reporting.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Achieve professional certifications relative to area of expertise, must have and preserve required licenses
  • Must possess analytical skills
  • Proficient use of applicable technology
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally
  • Must be able to travel based on client and business needs

 

The annual salary target for this job in this market is $120,000 - $140,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
