The Medical Assistant Supervisor will act as a leader for day-to-day supervision and guidance for the team of Medical Assistants. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in multiple clinics, gaining experience and exposure to a wide range of functions. Although the Primary location is in Downtown Los Angeles, CA, you will work in other surrounding clinics as well, in East Los Angeles, City West, and Montebello. Mileage will be reimbursed

In addition to the basic front and back office duties, the Medical Assistant Supervisor will also:

  • Monitor Medical Assistant productivity 
  • Provide training to staff and new hires 
  • Audit charting 
  • Assist Clinic Manager with creating protocols 
  • Participate in mandatory staff meetings as needed. 
  • Assist with inventory organization and stocking of exam rooms and labs. 
  • Promote TOI’s culture of exceptional behavioral standards for customer service. 
  • Maintain and protect confidentiality and security of all organizational information gained in the course of performing job responsibilities including but not limited to, financial and client information. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Required Experience: 

  • High school graduate or GED 
  • Medical Assistant Certificate 
  • Supervisor experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
