Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee a team of medical scribes, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters to support providers.
- Utilize advanced tools to monitor team performance, provide coaching, and drive continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary point of contact for resolving escalated provider concerns and collaborating with leadership on broader operational issues.
- Ensure compliance with OrthoVirginia policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements in all scribe activities.
- Foster a positive team environment, addressing conflicts promptly and supporting engagement through clear communication and resource alignment.
- Drive the full employee lifecycle for direct reports, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and development planning.
Qualifications:
- BA degree in related field, preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a medical office
- At least 2 years of experience in a People Leadership role
