Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee a team of medical scribes, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters to support providers.

  • Utilize advanced tools to monitor team performance, provide coaching, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for resolving escalated provider concerns and collaborating with leadership on broader operational issues.
  • Ensure compliance with OrthoVirginia policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements in all scribe activities.
  • Foster a positive team environment, addressing conflicts promptly and supporting engagement through clear communication and resource alignment.
  • Drive the full employee lifecycle for direct reports, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and development planning.

Qualifications:

  • BA degree in related field, preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a medical office
  • At least 2 years of experience in a People Leadership role
