The Vice President of Social, Influencers & Partnerships will be a visionary leader responsible for shaping a holistic social media, influencer, and strategic partnership strategy across a portfolio of retail brands. This leader will drive brand relevance, engagement, and customer acquisition through innovative storytelling, cultural resonance, and collaborative activations. They will collaborate cross-functionally with brand leads, creative, e-commerce, media, merchandising, and analytics to maximize impact and ROI.Social Media Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and oversee a multi-brand social media vision and playbook, ensuring alignment with brand identities and business goals while differentiating each individual brand.
- Drive platform-specific strategies (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, etc.) to grow reach, engagement, and community.
- Oversee social listening, trend forecasting, and real-time engagement to ensure brand activations are are aligned to the latest trends.
Influencer & Creator Marketing
- Define and scale influencer marketing ecosystem, from nano to celebrity talent across the portfolio of brands
- Lead strategy for influencer partnerships, campaigns, and always-on ambassador programs.
- Negotiate high-value partnerships with talent agencies, creators, and media partners.
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks to track performance and ROI.
- Ensure influencer and talent-led activations are integrated into owned, earned and paid consumer touchpoints
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and secure brand-aligned partnerships (media, fashion, lifestyle, tech, entertainment, non-profit) that elevate awareness and drive customer loyalty.
- Lead contract negotiations and oversee execution of co-branded initiatives, collaborations, and events.
- Foster long-term partnerships that strengthen brand equity across multiple customer segments.
Team & Budget Management
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing social, influencer, and partnership team.
- Optimize spend across social, influencer, and partnership initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external agencies/vendors.
Analytics & Innovation
- Partner with marketing analytics team to define clear KPIs for engagement, reach, conversion, and partnership value.
- Leverage insights and data to refine strategies and drive business outcomes.
- Experiment with emerging platforms, formats, and technologies to keep brands ahead of the curve.
Desired Qualifications:
- 12+ years of progressive experience in social media, influencer marketing, and/or partnerships, ideally in retail, fashion, beauty, or consumer lifestyle industries.
- Proven track record of building social-first brands and driving measurable impact through influencer and partnership strategies.
- Strong network of influencer, creator, and partnership contacts across key industries.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing large teams and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills; ability to balance creativity with commercial goals.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to represent the company externally at high levels.
