Our team has spent the past two decades providing environmental, utility vegetation management (UVM), software and sustainability services. We are fortunate to be a part of the Wright Service Corp. family, which has helped us establish a strong foundation for continued growth and success.

Through a strategic alignment of values and goals, four Wright Service Corp. entities joined and integrated into one, operating as Eocene Environmental Group. These four entities are:

  • Forestry & Utility Division

  • Environmental Division

  • Technology & Innovation Division

  • Sustainability Division

JOB SUMMARY: The Intern will use the knowledge gained through coursework to perform various tasks in support of the Eocene Sustainability Division. The Intern will learn to apply skills they have acquired through coursework in a professional setting. The Intern will gain a better understanding of the function the Eocene Sustainability Division plays in the industry and be better equipped to work in this area.

  • Provide support to the Eocene Sustainability Division on various projects

  • Collaborate with other teams to complete tasks and develop solutions

  • Receive extensive exposure to various environmental services and vegetation management roles within a professional setting

  • Participate in process improvement and automation projects as needed

  • Learn the technology of the Eocene Sustainability Division

  • Network with various teams within the company

  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings

  • Support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s and Eocene Environmental Group’s culture of safety and employee ownership

  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follow all company policies and procedures

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Junior or Senior-level college student in good academic standing, or recent college graduate

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Career interest in Eocene's Sustainability Division

  • Ability to work with a team of cross-functional experts in multiple locations

  • A collaborative, motivated attitude

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite products utilizing the latest operating system

  • Demonstrate excellent customer service focusing on rapport-building, listening, questioning and patience

  • Communicates effectively with all levels of employees, both technical and non-technical

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced, and ever-changing environment

  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with employees and vendors
