Shifts and Hours
1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (2 openings)
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
3rd Shift: Monday – Friday, 10:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. (1 opening)
Weekend Days: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Weekend Nights: Friday – Sunday, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.
Essential Responsibilities
Inspect, sample, and test in-process and finished goods to ensure compliance with Bright Innovation Labs and customer specifications.
Monitor and verify that fill and assembly specifications are followed during production operations.
Conduct and record inspections such as weights, torques, pump-to-prime tests, and other required evaluations using gauges and instruments.
Perform line clearances before and after production runs.
Inspect components staged on production lines and verify accuracy against specifications.
Verify correct labels, UPCs, and batch codes; ensure codes are legible and accurate.
Identify nonconforming product or equipment issues and promptly communicate with Production Supervisors, Line Leads, QA Department Leads, and Mechanics.
Document all quality checks and ensure production paperwork meets GMP requirements.
Follow procedures for unacceptable products using quarantine and hold tags.
Pull finished goods samples as required by customer and internal protocols.
Promote and uphold Bright Innovation Labs' quality and safety standards in all activities.
Participate in required training related to GMP, safety, and company programs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or similar role within a manufacturing environment required; cosmetic or personal care experience a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy in documentation.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility with scheduling; overtime may be required with short notice.
Basic math skills, including ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages.
Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
Regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs as needed.
Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts and moderate manufacturing noise.
Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
Must have good close vision, color vision, and depth perception.
