Job Description:
- Conduct Development Lead tasks such as mentoring and assisting team members with database troubleshooting;
- Develop & support SQL software; conduct DBA related tasks (example: restoring backups);
- Analyze query plans, tune & improve performance of existing queries, improve indexing; document specific recommendations;
- Conduct code reviews of SQL code using Azure Pull Requests (Microsoft Azure Dev-Ops website);
- Develop documentation around, and evangelize, standards & processes; and
- Support & validate regular SQL build.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field plus 7 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or related occupation.
Skill Set Requirements:
7 years of experience in the following skills:
- TSQL querying, performance tuning, and indexing for performance & concurrency
- Data analysis;
- Microsoft SQL Server database troubleshooting and deadlock resolution; and
- Database TSQL code reviews.
Telecommuting permitted. 40 hours/week. $153,317 - $212,000 per year.

Compensation:
