You'll be building & working within the Group Chief Technology Organization, focusing on development of the enterprise data mesh, closely interacting with data owners across the bank. You will be joining a team that are helping to scale, build and leverage data products in the firm. The team partners with different divisions and functions across the Bank to develop innovative digital solutions and expand our technical expertise into new areas. You will be joining a growing team, and you will have the opportunity to further shape and establish its footprint in the organization.

• Experienced Developer with at least 8+ years of experience in development projects for larger enterprises
• Experience with JavaScript/Typescript
• Experience developing and deploying large-scale NodeJS applications, preferably in the financial services space
• Working knowledge of database connectivity, interactions
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues from application logs
• Experience with single-page application architectures (React preferred)
• Proven experience with developing for cloud platforms (MS Azure preferred)
• Experience with working in an agile development environment (Scrum)
• Experience with CI/CD development approaches, container-based development (devcontainers)
• Good knowledge of Microservice architecture design principles.
• Understanding of API security: Authentication, Authorization, JWT
• Familiarity with API versioning and evolution techniques
• Document Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
• Identifying and managing technical debt
• Data modeling for NoSQL (Document) databases
• Some experience with Graph databases is desirable
• Experience with Data Virtualization, Open Policy Agent, OpenLineage a big plus
