What You'll Do:

The role of a process owner involves overseeing a specific business process from end-to-end within an organization. Process owners are accountable for the ongoing performance and strategic design of end-to-end business processes across the operating environment.

  • Take ownership of a specific business process from end-to-end (starts with the customer, ends with the customer), understanding its objectives, inputs, outputs, and dependencies within the organization. Create impact analysis/CBA, present findings to stakeholders, and actively participate in prioritization decisions to drive process improvement and alignment with business goals.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging feedback, implementing best practices, and driving innovation in process design and execution. Develop and maintain multi-year roadmaps for process design, improvement, and capital spend, while analyzing the current state, identifying areas for improvement and root causes of issues, and developing strategies to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
  • Document and maintain detailed process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and other relevant documentation to ensure clarity and consistency in process execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across different departments or functions to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor the performance of the process, track progress over time, and identify opportunities for further improvement.
  • Identify potential risks, bottlenecks, or compliance issues associated with the process and develop controls to eliminate or mitigation strategies to minimize adverse impacts on operations.
  • Support change initiatives related to process improvements, ensuring proper communication, training, and support to facilitate smooth transitions and adoption.
  • Perform other job-related duties or special projects as required.
Who You Are:
  • 6+ years of related work experience in process management, business process reengineering, or similar roles, preferably within a relevant industry or sector or equivalent demonstrated through one or combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience or education.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, BPM) preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and deliverables.
  • Proficiency in process modeling tools, workflow automation software, and other relevant technologies to support process design and optimization efforts.
Salary Range Information:Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range:$81900 - $182400 / yearTime Off Program:Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.Pension Eligible:YesAdditional Information:

Location

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, Charlotte, NC, and Raleigh, NC). You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
