Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist
Reports To: Coordinator/Case Manager, Compliance Manager, or SLP Department Lead
About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to assess and support students with speech and language needs. You’ll provide therapy, guide IEP development, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to help students reach their full potential in the classroom.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct speech and language assessments, analyze results, and write comprehensive reports
Develop and implement IEPs for students with speech or language impairments
Provide direct therapy to students individually or in groups
Consult with teachers on classroom strategies and curriculum modifications
Communicate assessment results and recommendations to parents and school staff
Ensure compliance with Medicaid and special education regulations
Maintain accurate student records and protect confidentiality
What We’re Looking For:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
ASHA Certification (CFY or CCC) and current SLP license or eligibility
Minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably with school-aged children
Knowledge of K-12 special education requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Team-oriented with ability to collaborate effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other web-based applications
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
