INTERN - Ready Mix & Aggregate Operations en None

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must currently be enrolled in an accredited college, university or CIM Program seeking a degree in a related field.
• General knowledge of construction operations and procedures.
• Valid driver’s license.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                                                                                           

1. Customer interaction.
2. Learn how to batch concrete loads according to specifications.
3. Learn how to collect, prepare, analyze, and document samples in order to determine content and characteristics.
4. Learn how to answer phone and trouble shoot orders for Ready Mix & Aggregate operations.
5. Test concrete per ACI standards and aggregates per ASTM standards.
6. Explore other areas of interest to learn more about the general operations of the division both within and outside of the assigned department that will be supplemental to the learning experience.
7. Provide basic administrative support, assist other supervisors as directed, and help with special projects as needed.
8. Perform general maintenance on ready mix & aggregate plants.
9. Performs other duties as assigned.
