Job Description:

Activities to be carried out as part of the service: The service consists of monitoring our main equipment supplier Handovers on the scope of process instrumentation.

The technical lead service main mission is to ensure:

  • Technical clarification and resolution of supplier and client technical queries
  • Technical management of the supplier and support to the contract engineering lead in their contractual relationship with the client during design, procurement and delivery phase regarding the specifications and requisitions.
  • Follow up of all equipment manufacturing and delivery to site
  • Reviews of supplier technical documents and annual surveillance report
  • Management of risks, opportunities, open Points, UK Design Changes and Exemptions requests generated by our supplier
  • Management of contract transfer sheets that informs the clients about contract modification via dedicated tools
  • Management of interfaces with Client disciplines involved in the process instrumentation - Management of the design and operation of the systems during the design, construction and commissioning phases, in accordance with safety requirements, regulatory requirements and design rules.
  • Ensure the proper integration of detailed mechanical diagrams, functional diagrams, 3D model in the associated tools
  • Receive modification requests issued by various engineering teams, verify the coherence of these modifications, systematically challenge their necessity
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the RCC-E electrical technical regulations and the technical reference system (NFC15-100 / NF C 13-200 / BS7671 / IEC 60909) -
  • Knowledge of the nuclear field via school curriculum or professional experience
  • Knowledge of the processes involved in industrial projects in the energy field
  • Technical documents reviews
  • Experience in instrumentation equipment design, procurement, testing or installation 
Additional Information:
  • Long-term contract - 14 months
  • Salary/rate – depending on experience
  • Location: Bristol (Onsite)
  • 3 days on-site optional 2 days WFH
  • 20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
