Position Overview
Shearer Supply is hiring an on-site eCommerce Content Specialist to manage the day-to-day management of our B2B web storefront (catalog and content) and ensure product data quality, accurate availability, and smooth customer experience. You’ll be responsible for keeping the platform current, the catalog clean, and the merchandising calendar on track.
eCommerce Platform Management
- Own the SKU lifecycle: new item setup, attribute enrichment, taxonomy/tagging, unit of measure, images/docs, compliance/spec sheets, related items.
- Run bulk imports/updates for pricing, attributes, categories, and cross-sells/upsells; maintain templates/mappings.
- Maintain product searchability: synonyms, facets/filters, keywords, and site search tuning to improve findability.
- Administer the eCommerce platform (Unilog CX / similar enterprise platform); create/update categories, collections, landing pages, navigation, and content modules.
- Execute scheduled content changes (banners, promos, new releases).
- Perform site QA (broken links, page speed checks, mobile layouts, cross-browser validation) and coordinate fixes via internal/external teams.
- Manage digital assets (images, PDFs, manuals) and ensure brand-consistent copy, formatting, and SEO-friendly basics (titles, meta, alt text).

Requirements
- 1–4 years in eCommerce operations, product catalog management, or digital merchandising (B2B preferred).
- Hands-on experience with an enterprise eCommerce platform
- Comfortable with bulk product operations: CSV/XLSX templates, import/export tools, and data validation (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Familiarity with PIM/ERP concepts
