Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Procurement & Reconciliation Specialist to join our Procurement team in Lisbon. This role is responsible for verifying, recording, and reconciling receipts and invoices to ensure accurate financial records and timely vendor payments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, review, and process incoming invoices and receipts.
  • Match invoices with purchase orders, delivery notes, and receipts.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between invoices and supporting documents.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing issues or payment discrepancies.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices and receipts.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and external financial regulations.
  • Support audits by providing documentation and clarifications related to invoices and receipts.
  • Supplier onboarding process manager

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in  accounts payable, or financial reconciliation.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
  • Good understanding of financial documentation (invoices, receipts, POs).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
