The Associate Business Analyst provides analytical and operational support through research, data analysis, reporting, and process evaluation. This role assists in documenting business requirements, developing test scenarios, and supporting the design and implementation of new or enhanced systems and procedures.
The Associate Business Analyst will support the Claims, Clinical, and Grievances & Appeals (G&A) areas, with a focus on advancing Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiatives to improve efficiency and streamline business processes.
Responsibilities
- Research and analyze data, business operations, and workflows to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop or assist in developing recommendations and action plans to address identified business needs.
- Support project planning and management from design and development through testing, implementation, and maintenance.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing objectives, findings, and recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Analyze current processes within Claims, Clinical, and G&A functions to identify potential risks and areas for automation or efficiency enhancement.
- Support RPA projects by gathering requirements, testing solutions, and validating outcomes.
- Create and maintain reports that inform decision-making and support strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (high school diploma/GED required).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate processes and recommend effective solutions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); Power BI experience preferred.
- Knowledge of process and data-driven analysis techniques.
- Understanding of the healthcare system and experience working in Agile/sprint environments.
- Must be located within commuting distance of Camp Hill, PA or Alpharetta, GA, and able to report to the office for key events such as town halls, team meetings, and collaborative sessions.
Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental’s assessment of the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity.
Pay Grade 17. $50,800 - $106,400
