About the Role
Assist with the Design Documentation requirements for Construction of NBN Infrastructure. Provide design drafting capabilities for telecommunications network designs meeting Service Stream standards. Work effectively with field supervisors, perform surveys and assist with design variations and record all design alterations by continually updating the CAD design as work progresses. Ensure all design related documentation including Excel, Word documents are updated and issued in a timely manner

What you’ll be doing:
Turning complex requirements into smart, cost-efficient designs (pre-scope, design, as-built).
Ensuring quality and compliance with the latest NBN standards.
Collaborating with project teams and stakeholders to keep things moving.
Troubleshooting tricky design and construction queries like a pro.
Managing ADR/GML duct reservations and resolving defects.
What you’ll bring:
Hands-on experience with NBN design projects.
Skills in AutoCAD, SpatialNET (PNI), and MapInfo.
Knowledge across FTTX, FTTN, HFC, MDU (and copper design a bonus!).
Problem-solving chops and the ability to adapt to new guidelines fast.
