We are seeking a high-performing Account Manager to lead sales and relationship development with one of the key telecommunications operators in the region, driving growth across next-generation network infrastructure, cloud transformation, and AI-ready connectivity.

This is a strategic sales role for a motivated professional who understands how fiber, optical, cloud and AI technologies are reshaping digital infrastructure in Singapore. You will engage telecommunication providers and their ecosystems - including enterprises, government and cloud partners to deliver solutions that accelerate digital transformation and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead account strategy, business planning and opportunity execution for the assigned solution domains within the key operator account in Singapore.
  • Drive growth across multiple technology domains including IP, Optical and Fixed Networks, expanding Nokia’s footprint and solution adoption within the account. 
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders
  • Understand customer priorities/pain points, investment focus, and transformation roadmap to align Nokia’s solutions and value propositions.
  • Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to shape product strategy and go-to-market plans.
  • Manage and drive cross-functional teams to diligently qualify and execute on specific account and opportunity plans.
  • Position Nokia’s Network Infrastructure portfolio with clear differentiation and measurable business outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with internal business stakeholders and ecosystem partners to strengthen value proposition and delivery.
  • Adopt Nokia’s sales tools and processes to manage pipeline, forecasting and account governance effectively.
  • Represent Nokia with professionalism and integrity, building long-term partnerships that create mutual business value.
  • Travel to make sales calls and related business activities can be up to 3 to 4 days a week in assigned territory.

Qualifications

You have:

  • 8–12 years of proven account or sales experience in the telecommunications or technology sector.
  • A strong track record of handling key strategic accounts – Ideally Tier-1 operators, large enterprises, or major government organizations in Singapore or the region with a solid record of driving complex opportunities and achieving sales objectives.
  • Strong business acumen and consultative selling capabilities – able to translate technology into tangible business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Awareness of competing technologies and solutions from relevant industry vendors.

 

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Preferred but not mandatory: Experience in Fiber Access, Broadband, or Optical Transport solutions.
