Job Description:An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 1 or 2 Physiotherapist to join our highly valued Allied Health team at Epworth Geelong! This permanent full time leave reliever position, will provide clinical cover for physiotherapy leave within both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and on acute wards. We are open to part-time arrangements for the ideal candidate.
At Epworth Geelong our physiotherapists work within a multidisciplinary team and provide care to patients in the Emergency Department, ICU, acute wards, inpatient rehabilitation and outpatient rehabilitation services. Patient profiles include but are not limited to, orthopaedics, neurology, cardiorespiratory, general medical, surgical, oncology, pelvic health and pain management.
The successful applicant will be well supported, will enjoy variety and have the opportunity to contribute to clinical care across the continuum. You will be flexible in your approach, be willing to learn and identify knowledge gaps and present with a breadth of clinical experience. The role will suit someone with a positive solution focused demeanour, who demonstrates exceptional communication skills and a strength in the development of effective working relationships.

You will make an impact by:
- Delivering excellence in clinical care aligned with best practice
- Demonstrating an innovative and proactive approach to problem solving
- Confidently liaising with all stakeholders to ensure patient care is optimised. Specifically ensuring that patient clinical handovers are accurate and timely
- Demonstrating an excellent work ethic and a desire to do your best each day
- Providing supervision to junior staff and students as required
- Delivering flexibility within the team
To be successful in this role you will have:
- At minimum of 3 years of experience working as a physiotherapist in a hospital setting
- Physiotherapy skills, confidence and experience in both acute and rehabilitation
- Excellent communication skills and an ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
- Proven ability to manage a busy clinical load
- Excellent time management skills and a high attention to detail in all aspects of your work
- The ability to contribute to quality improvement activities alongside your clinical work
