What's this role about?

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to lead and manage multiple data engineering and analytics projects, including cloud data migrations and reporting solutions, for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong client relationship management skills, a techno-functional understanding of cloud data platforms, and proven experience in delivering complex data programs in a matrixed environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data projects including cloud migration, data lake modernization, and BI/reporting solutions.
  • Ensure timely execution of project milestones, resource planning, and risk mitigation across multiple engagements.

Client Engagement & Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, ensuring alignment of delivery with business objectives.
  • Build trusted relationships with senior client leaders across business and IT functions.

Techno-Functional Leadership

  • Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to define scalable cloud data solutions using platforms like GCP, Azure, or AWS.
  • Translate business requirements into technical deliverables, ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance.

Team & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Manage cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, testers, and cloud architects.
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies, status reviews, and stakeholder communications.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 15–18 years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or cloud transformation, with at least 5+ years in delivery management roles.
  • Strong understanding of cloud data platforms (GCP preferred), data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, managing large-scale data programs across BFSI, Retail, or similar domains.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, JIRA, and project tracking tools.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in GCP, PMP, or Scrum Master.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and data quality tools.

Exposure to regulatory reporting, risk analytics, or financial data platforms.
