About Your Future Role

As a Key Account Manager (KAM) within a Large Bank, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with the large Banks. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring client satisfaction, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering tailored financial solutions that align with client needs and the bank’s strategic objectives. This is a German speaking role.

Your Main Responsibilities 

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with high-value clients.
  • Serve as the trusted advisor, understanding client business models, financial needs, and strategic goals.
  • Ensure consistent and proactive communication across all touchpoints

Strategic Account Planning

  • Create and execute account plans to drive revenue growth and client retention.
  • Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across banking products 
  • Collaborate with Marketing and product teams to deliver customized solutions.

Internal Coordination

  • Liaise with internal departments (Marketing, Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal) to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams to support complex client needs and transactions.

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor account performance, client satisfaction, and service delivery metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Track market trends and competitor activity to inform client strategy.

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Support onboarding of new strategic clients and ensure smooth integration.
What Makes You the Right Person for This Role? 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, relationship banking, or corporate finance.
  • Proven track record of managing high-value client relationships in financial services.
  • Strong understanding of banking products and regulatory environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret financial data and market insights.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Native German Speaker
