Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Patient Sitter to provide one-on-one observation and support to patients in a healthcare setting. The Patient Sitter plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients who require continuous monitoring due to medical, emotional, or behavioral needs. This position is ideal for individuals who are patient, empathetic, and committed to delivering excellent care.

Education Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous observation of assigned patients to ensure their safety and prevent self-harm or injury.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding the patient’s condition, behavior, and any concerns.
• Assist patients with non-clinical needs, such as companionship, emotional support, and basic comfort measures.
• Follow hospital or facility protocols to maintain a safe environment for the patient.
• Notify nursing staff immediately of any changes in the patient’s condition or behavior.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Document observations and interactions as required by facility policies.
• Support the healthcare team by fostering a calm and positive environment for the patient.
