Norfolk- AWAKE Overnight DSP (9 PM–7 AM)

We’re offering a $500 sign-on bonus and paid certifications to help you grow with us. Ready to make a difference at night? Join our team as a Direct Support Professional in Norfolk.

  • Support overnight routines: safety checks, respectful personal care, medication prompts per policy, and accurate documentation.

  • Be the calm problem-solver: respond to needs, communicate clearly, and set up a smooth start to the morning.

  • Grow with us: paid training and our Career Pathways Program.

Schedule

  • 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM (AWAKE)

  • Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights available

Pay

  • $16.02-$19.02 per hour, plus benefits  

  • Shift differentials may apply where eligible  (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)

Qualifications


Paid Training:
CPR/First Aid
Medication Aide Training
DBHDS DSP Orientation
Mandt Certification
 
Requirements:
Lift up to 50lbs.
Valid Driver's License
Reliable transportation
Satisfactory Criminal Background Check
 
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to assist individuals with completing activities of daily living.
Experience through education or work history that demonstrates reliability/dependability.
Skill to complete satisfactorily: Medication Certification, Medicaid Waiver Certification, First Aid/CPR, Mandt, and other requirements associated with orientation.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Ability to make decisions and exercise good judgment.
Skill in locating and accessing community resources.
