Quarry Foreperson - What Will You Do?
- Lead coworkers in safe, efficient operations and serve as the on-site point of contact when the Superintendent is not present.
- Assist with daily production, material flow, reporting, and maintenance activities.
- Support the Superintendent in planning and coordinating day-to-day operations across the operation.
- Monitor quality, inventory, and reporting to ensure materials meet required specifications.
- Conduct and participate in daily Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and toolbox talks.
- Assist with MSHA and DEP inspections.
- Work collaboratively in a collective bargaining environment, fostering teamwork and communication.
- Assist with training coworkers on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Help troubleshoot plant and equipment issues as they arise.

Requirements - Who Are We Looking For?
- Three to five years' experience in a quarry or aggregate environment. Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Positive attitude and willingness to grow and learn.
- Team Mindset - "The NESL Way"
- Focus on Safety, Quality, and Accuracy.
- Experience in construction or manufacturing is a plus, but not required.
- Valid driver's license and meets NESL's driving standards preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED.
