JOB TITLE: Main Banker (must be 21 years of age or older.)
DEPARTMENT: Cage and Count
REPORTS TO: Cage and Count Manager
SALARY: Grade 4
Range Starts: $17.19/hourly
Range Ends: $25.79/hourly
CLASSIFICATION: Non-exempt
SUPERVISES: None
JOB SUMMARY: This team member handles all monetary transactions including bank deposits, casino drops and pay-outs for the bank during the shift.
This team member is also responsible for accurate record keeping and bank reconciliation of a large bank.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintains accurate inventory of all items in the vault during assigned shift and is responsible for creating and issuing banks. Prepares a summary of all receipts and disbursements made during assigned shift, prepares vault reconciliation and settlement report at the end of assigned shift.
- Ensures that the vault dollar amount is regulated on a daily basis.
- Safeguards cash, chips, check, credit card and other negotiables in small and large amounts, processes accountability and other forms for balancing the Vault in accordance with Regulations and MICS.
- Accepts casino drop after count verification, ensures that the casino bank is correct and verified, handles cage pay outs as authorized and is responsible for all exchanges.
- Acts as a liaison to Finance by recording, preparing and forwarding Slot tickets and paper work such as Cage, checkout sheets, cash turn in reports, W2G’s, etc.
- Processes jackpots for all departments.
- Responsible for the security of controlled items such as keys and gaming checks, as well as maintaining and safekeeping the checkbook.
- Assists the Cage and Count Supervisor in directing the operations of the shift.
- Responsible for table game fills/credits.
- Must be able to perform monthly kiosk drop transactions.
- Ensures all deposits are going to correct account.
- Changes full bill acceptors as needed.
- Prepares the deposit of revenue daily, prepares special banks and breaker banks as needed.
- Performs all duties in a manner that continually supports the vision, mission, values, and principles of the Resort & Casino.
- Performs all duties in a manner that adheres to the guest service standards established by the Resort & Casino’s guest service program.
- Other duties as assigned by the Cage and Count Manager.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- A High School diploma, or the equivalent thereof, is required.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
The experience and knowledge requirements outlined here are representative of the minimum that must be met by the team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, however, higher levels of experience and knowledge than required may be reflected during the recruitment process:
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Strong mathematical skills, high volume cash handling experience, and the ability to use a 10-key adding machine is required.
- Exceptional money handling skills in a high security area are required.
- The ability to effectively communicate with guests and all team members of the Resort & Casino is required.
- The ability to perform job functions in an atmosphere where priorities and deadlines may change frequently is required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

- Continuously stands, and walks.
- Occasionally sits, bends/stoops, climbs, reach above/below shoulder level, kneels, and squats.
- Frequently lifts/carries up to ten (10) pounds is required.
- Occasionally lifts/carries up to seventy five (75) pounds is required.
- Occasionally pushes/pulls up to fifty (50) pounds is required.
- The ability to use office equipment including, but not limited to a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone, is required.
- Must be able to work in small, enclosed rooms.
- Must be able to speak and hear through an enclosed glass booth.
