The City of Minot is accepting applications for the position of Program Management Analyst in the Minot Police Department, with an application deadline of Friday, October 24th 2025.
Nature of Work
This is advanced analytical and administrative work for Minot Police Department. This position will also have a supervisory component that is crucial to the overall efficiency of the agency. Incumbents work in a setting of great complexity, deal on a continuing basis with sensitive or controversial matters, have continual public contact, and must ensure that all activities under their control meet defined objectives. Work requires the exercise of initiative, sound judgment and discretion in the performance of their duties. Work is performed under the general direction of the Chief of Police and reports directly to the Deputy Police Chief. Assignments are in the form of general outline or desired results, with methods and processes expected to be developed and implemented as appropriate. The employee will be required to give guidance and assistance to other employees, as assigned. Please see attached job description for complete details.
Education and Experience
- Graduation from high school and three to five years experience as an Office or Administrative Specialist; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum one-year supervisory experience. Proficient in MS Office suite and general analytics.
Compensation and Benefits
- The assigned salary range of Program Management Analyst under the 2025 City of Minot Annual Pay Plan is a Grade 62, with an annual salary range of $58,627-$87,032 which is $28.89-$41.84 per hour.
- This is a full time, FLSA Exempt position not eligible for overtime.
