This is a high-impact role for a hunter-style sales professional who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and driving revenue growth.
SUMMARY
This position facilitates and expedites the flow of materials to and from various departments. Verifies delivered material to ensure order specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compiles and maintains material status information
- Reads production schedules, inventory reports and work orders
- Consults with department leads/operators
- Locates and distributes materials to specified production areas
- May examine material received, verify part numbers and check discrepancies
- May compare job specifications to material used to verify priority
- May work in areas to assist in movement of material through production
- Reconcile jobs that have fallen off the standard path
- Other duties as assigned
Load and secure table tops and other parts into out panel trucks Identify product by job number and color
Ability to follow up on a checklist and adhere to the company policy.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of internal experience w/ LSI or previous expeditor experience
- High School Diploma
- Excellent oral & written communication skills
- Great creativity and problem solving skills
- Great time management skills
- Good math skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with others
- Detail-oriented
- Works well in a teamwork environment
PREFERRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years previous expeditor experience
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to work while standing for 8 to 12 hour shifts
- Ability to move and carry substantial parts on varied surfaces
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to safely operate overhead crane
- Ability to follow all safety requirements
- Ability to use measuring tools
