Registered Veterinary Technician en Colony Park Animal Hospital

Colony Park Animal Hospital is a full service, AAHA-accredited veterinary practice located in Durham, NC. We are looking for a bright and reliable team member to join our practice full time! As a Registered Veterinary Technician at Colony Park Animal Hospital, you will play a critical role in supporting veterinarians in delivering high-quality medical care. Colony Park Animal Hospital is a well-established, 5 doctor practice committed to providing exceptional service for routine medical care, surgery and dentistry. 

Schedule: 

• Flexible scheduling Monday through Friday 36-40 hours per week. 
• Rotating weekend schedule with a maximum of 2 weekends per month. 

About you:

• Current registration as a Veterinary Technician in the state of North Carolina
• Commitment to patient care and customer service
• Experience with animal handling and restraint techniques.
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records and follow protocols.
• Strong understanding for responsibilities such as obtaining vitals, placing IV catheters, venipuncture, and administering medications. 
• Familiarity with veterinary practice management software.
• Strong communication skills for client education and team collaboration.
