Senior Retail Officer (SVP) – Union Bank, Morrisville, VT

Union Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Retail Officer (SVP) to lead our retail banking operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving branch performance, managing teams, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate retail branch policies, activities, and staff.
• Develop and achieve sales goals for branches and regions.
• Oversee branch automation and retail delivery systems.
• Direct and coach Branch Managers and Retail Operations Officer.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and training for all branches.
• Ensure compliance with banking laws and regulations.
• Analyze sales productivity and prepare performance reports.
• Cultivate client and community relationships to promote Union Bank’s image.
• Participate in business development, product launches, and community organizations.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required.
• 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in retail banking.
• Previous supervisory experience required.
• Strong strategic, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of retail banking laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
