Position Summary
The Grants & Funding Research Coordinator supports the strategic growth and impact of the Grants & Funding Program by maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in the Grants & Funding Opportunities Database, analyzing funding pursuits, and delivering tailored research that supports client needs. This role does not involve proposal writing but is essential to ensuring the team has the insights and documentation needed to pursue funding opportunities effectively.

What You Will Do:
- Database Management
Maintain and update the Grants & Funding Opportunities Database with accurate information on funding sources, deadlines, eligibility criteria, and submission requirements.
- Grant & Funding Analysis
Track and analyze requests for grant assistance and funding pursuits to identify trends, gaps, and strategic opportunities. - Client-Focused Research
Conduct tailored research to identify potential grant opportunities aligned with client goals.
Summarize eligibility requirements, evaluation criteria, and submission guidelines.
Research background information on clients to support strategic alignment and readiness. - Internal Coordination
Collaborate with the Grants & Funding Specialist and Grants & Funding Program Manager to deliver supporting documentation and insights.
Coordinate with internal staff to gather materials needed for grant-related deliverables. - Documentation & Reporting
Maintain organized records of research outputs, client requests, and funding recommendations.
Support the development of internal reports and dashboards that track grant activity and impact.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Finance, Nonprofit Management, Library and Information Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate funding opportunities and client needs.
- High attention to detail in managing databases and documentation.
- Experience with research methodology and synthesizing complex information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial management concepts.
- Understanding of grant writing guidelines and funding landscapes (without direct proposal authorship).
- Equivalent experience in grants research, funding analysis, or public sector support may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
