Summary

City Market Co-Op is seeking a Facilities Assistant III to perform maintenance, inspection, cleaning, and customer service tasks, to ensure the safety and comfort of our cherished customers, co-workers, and community.

Day-to-Day Duties

  • Completing repairs in a timely manner to equipment, building or grounds including but not limited to kitchen equipment, light carpentry, plumbing fixtures, painting, clearing snow, etc.
  • Coordinating facilities projects with minimal guidance, including light construction, moving equipment/waste, painting, and documentation. 
  • Assisting the Facilities Manager with the maintenance and cleaning related projects.
  • Performing building, equipment, and facilities inspections as needed.
  • Providing excellent customer service to community members and co-workers.
  • Compliance with established City Market procedures and practices regarding operations, sales, safety, and security.
  • May be required to perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • One year of maintenance or contracting experience OR three years of custodial experience required.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred. 
  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
