Summary of Position: 

The Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations and ensuring efficient material handling, inventory control, and order fulfillment. This role supports the Warehouse Manager in supervising a team of warehouse workers to meet productivity, safety, and quality goals

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Supervise, guide, and support warehouse staff in day-to-day operations.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Monitor team performance and provide coaching and training as needed.
• Coordinate workloads and allocate tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and OSHA regulations.
• Perform regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counts and stock audits.
• Communicate effectively with other departments (e.g., logistics, procurement, customer service) to resolve issues.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new employees.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:  

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree preferred).
• 2+ years of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift certification (preferred or required depending on company policy).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
