Automotive Accounting Internship:

• Baxter Auto is seeking a motivated Accounting Intern to join our team for an 8-week summer program. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world accounting experience in a well-established automotive company representing 8 manufacturers across 20 dealerships in the Midwest. 

Your Purpose as an Automotive Accounting Intern:

• Assist with data entry and maintaining accurate financial records
• Support month-end closing processes
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and reports
• Help process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Assist in organizing financial documents
• Conduct research and analysis on financial discrepancies or variances
• Collaborate with the accounting team on ad hoc tasks and projects

Requirements

 Basic Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be available to work full-time in the Omaha metro area during Summer 2026
• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with a projected graduation date of May 2026, December 2026, or May 2027
