Summary: 

The Dealer Relationship Manager (DRM) establishes and maintains relationships with automobile dealerships with the goal of promoting indirect loans. Provides guidance, training, and support to dealers on the organization's loan products, and tracks dealer metrics and performance. Maintains working knowledge of products and programs, and ensures that dealer organizations comply with organizational policies and standards.  

 

Education and/or Experience: 

  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of eight years directly related experience required 

  • Minimum five years' experience in Indirect Sales role with a proven track record of success 

  • Demonstrated experience in Automotive, Finance and Sales required 

  • Local travel up to 45% 

  • Strong Interpersonal, communication and Presentation skills Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques 

 

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for prospecting, developing and maintaining dealer relationships and expanding the dealer market base in new and existing territories to include franchise and qualifying independent dealerships 

  • Responsible for volume, producing dealers, dealer efficiency and continued growth of assigned marketing area 

  • Prospects, develops and maintains strong dealer relationships through field and phone marketing 

  • Continually surveys competitive market loan rates and prepares reports for management. 

  • Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity in both independent and franchise dealers 

  • Develops daily schedules to ensure all preferred dealers are marketed weekly, and non– preferred dealers are visited on an ongoing basis 

  • Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Dealerships 

  • Identify non-producing dealers and prioritize corrective actions. 

  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for independent and franchise dealers 

  • Performs other duties as needed upon request from immediate supervisor

The good faith range for this position is $91,200 - $114,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications and operational needs. The salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.
