Camps Kitchen and Bar is a neighborhood gathering place with a passion for great food & drink—served in a rustic, laid-back atmosphere. We offer an elevated mix of Italian-inspired tavern fare featuring stone oven pizzas cooked in our 600-degree brick oven, fresh pasta with made-from-scratch sauces, house-grind burgers, and small plates that are perfect for sharing.
Our fully stocked bar offers a diverse list of beers (and wine!) with an emphasis on true craft brew. Next to the bar, you’ll find our lounge with a wood-burning fireplace and comfortable seating, making it a stellar place to relax with a drink. Outside, our patio looks over an idyllic pond, perfect for a bite in the fresh air.
Pay Based on Experience.

The Host is the first and last impression of the restaurant. We work hard, we’re there for one another, and we take care of our guests. Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Follow the Steps of Service and Host with Mostess Guidelines.
- Greet incoming and departing guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact
- Be able to carry on natural conversation with Guests without sounding scripted or intrusive.
- Thank the guests when leaving and invite them to come back to see us soon.
- Understand and operate the wait systems and inform Guests of their wait time.
- Monitor the waiting list, alert guests when tables are ready, then show them to their table
- Use visual cues to seat guests in either the bar or dining area, depending on their preference, and escort them to the assigned dining area; present menus; announce server/bartender name.
- Inform the Guest of current specials/promotions and who will be serving = smooth handoff
- Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service. May also need to fill to-go orders when needed.
- Tend to special guest needs and requests
- Care for our guests by refilling beverages and performing light housekeeping duties such as cleaning glasses and menus, and ensuring restrooms are clean, stocked, and orderly.
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol awareness policies
- Help dining room staff by setting and clearing tables; replenishing beverages when requested.
- Assist with guiding guests to go pick-up areas.
- Perform side duties and daily and weekly cleaning tasks as directed by management
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently = dress code followed
- Promptly address customer service issues and refer to management when necessary
