CMM Finance is currently seeking a detail-oriented and personable Insurance Clerk to join our team. The Insurance Clerk plays a key administrative role in ensuring smooth office operations by performing a variety of clerical and customer service tasks. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office environment, enjoys working with people, and has a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify insurance coverage for customer vehicles

• Maintain accurate and organized filing systems (physical and digital)

• Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner

• Perform general receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and handling inquiries

• Assist with data entry and other administrative tasks as needed

• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive customer and company information

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience in an office or administrative setting

• Strong interpersonal and phone communication skills

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to handle sensitive information with a high degree of confidentiality

• Professional demeanor and a positive attitude

• High school diploma or equivalent required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the insurance or automotive industry is a plus

• Familiarity with office equipment (copiers, scanners, multi-line phone systems)
