Oaknoll Retirement Residence is seeking a full-time maintenance person to join our team! The qualified candidate will be responsible for the assisting with the maintenance of our main campus. Duties can include but are not limited to; performing minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work or repair, assisting with moving residents' belonging when they change apartments or levels of care as requested, and performing routine maintenance on equipment such as air conditioners, smoke alarms, boilers, etc, performing minor installations, repairs, replacements, and renovations. Scheduled hours will be 8am-4pm, Monday through Friday, and a weekend of on-call maintenance every 6 weeks. Some holidays and weekends will be required.

Requirements

• Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Candidates must have some experience with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and repair.
• Candidates must be able to lift up to 50lbs regularly, and be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Candidates must be able to tactfully respond to staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
