HOURS: Full time, 40 hours/week.
SALARY: Dependent on experience and qualifications

RESPONSIBILITIES: Assess clients’ needs, and assist them with appropriate services, support, decisions and plans in accordance with LSSSD services. Coordinate appropriate resources, as needed, i.e. legal, financial, medical, psychological, other community resources, etc. Provide follow-up counseling and/or referrals as needed. Complete reports in timely and efficient manner in accordance with Agency and governmental standards. Promote the program and the client referral system throughout the community. Develop and maintain working relationships with staff/residents. Attend and participate in weekly treatment team meetings and staff meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in social work or related field, is required.
- One to two years of related experience is required.
- Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Social Worker Associate through the South Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Willingness to submit to record checks to detect criminal convictions of behavior harmful towards children, spousal abuse, distributing drugs or sex crimes.
- Requires a valid driver’s license/auto-insurance or the ability to obtain one with approved driver status.
