The SharePoint / Database Administrator provides comprehensive technical, database, and collaboration platform support to ensure the reliability, integrity, and performance of enterprise portals, databases, and SharePoint environments. This role also serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Microsoft Office 365 Power Applications, helping to improve productivity, data integration, and cross-team collaboration through the development of modern business solutions.
The position involves database administration, configuration management, software upgrades, system development, and end-user support across a complex and secure IT environment.
Job description:
·Develop project/program plans and milestones and participate in program technical reviews, status assessments, project/program planning, and project status reviews.
·Provide Software and Infrastructure Configuration Management services. Maintain change control documentation and validation as required in accordance with the CNSL Configuration Management Plan.
·Ensure subordinate command readiness and maintenance data is retrieved from various Navy systems, uploaded into the CNSL Portal, and validate that this data has been successfully integrated.
·Develop software upgrades and enhancements, modify computer code, and conduct software testing in SQL Database and SQL software, SharePoint and other programming languages and applications necessary to support CNSL Portal system in support of existing and ad hoc data extraction and reporting requirements.
·A SME for Microsoft Office 365 Power Applications for end user support and collaboration efforts.
Qualifications required:
Database Administrator Requirements:
·Minimum 10 years of experience developing and implementing database maintenance plans ensuring MSSQL database integrity and performance.
·Demonstrated experience developing web tools using Microsoft .NET, VB.Net, and C# for SharePoint or other enterprise portal management.
·Skilled in developing and optimizing JavaScript for data processing and performance reporting.
·Proven ability to generate detailed analysis reports to evaluate and enhance SQL Server performance.
SharePoint Administrator Requirements:
·Minimum 8 years of experience administering Microsoft SharePoint Server environments.
·At least 6 years of experience in SharePoint programming, process automation, and site implementation.
·Strong proficiency in managing site collections, permissions, workflow automation, and content management within SharePoint and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Additional Preferred Skills:
·Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office 365 Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
·Strong understanding of Configuration Management (CM) principles and Navy IT system protocols.
