Loan Compliance Specialist en Loudoun County Government, VA

About the Department

The mission of the Loudoun County Housing and Community Development Department is to produce and preserve affordable housing for the County’s diverse residents by implementing safe and affordable rental and homeownership opportunities, promoting community development, and advocating for impactful programs that meet evolving housing needs.

Position Duties

The position will administer the compliance and monitoring activities for loans provided by the County to support the development of attainable housing. The position will collect financial and affordability reporting documents and use business systems to implement the work; interact and coordinate with borrowers, asset managers, property managers, property inspectors, accountants, and lawyers to implement the work; calculate and collect loan payments and track loan balances; review and approve loan draw requests; and coordinate and communicate with departmental management and leadership to demonstrate ongoing compliance with loan agreements.

Hiring salary is commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Real Estate, or related field; two (2) years of related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Qualifications

Successful candidates will undergo background checks as required. The position may be required to travel to different locations throughout the day.
